Saturday was pretty ballistic on the south coast. Could only get away for the afternoon, but the tide was low all day so no problems there. Headed straight to Lancing hoping that the forecast for the wind to swing round to the west was correct. It was. So side shore Force 7 when I arrived, rigged a 4m Ezzy Wave. Fully powered, with nicely stacked waves, head high on the sets. Nice starboard tack wave riding. Wind gradually turned round to the northwest, so it got a bit gusty and patchy as the wind dropped off (hence only 4 stars), but the waves cleaned up and there were plumes of spray off the top. Plus the sun was out all afternoon making for great conditions. Sailed til dark with a bit of a wallow to get out to the cleaner wind out the back, then easy to catch a bigger set and ride it down the line til your fin grounded out.
